This figure represents a "typical" US Navy/Marine Corps fighter pilot as he would have appeared fighting over the skies of the Pacific during the early part of WW2. Fighter aircraft used during this period included the Corsair, Hellcat, Wildcat as well as bomber such as the Dauntless, Devestator and Helldiver.

This figure is approximately 1 1/2" wide and weighs less than 1/2 oz. It is intentionally longer than usually required for standard "head and shoulders" cockpits so as to offer you the option of either cutting off the excess body mass of the figure or increase the depth of the aircraft's cockpit. The weight of the figure may be further reduced by hollowing out the body area with a dremel or similar tool.
