Scale Pilot Figures
Royal Flying Corps
World War 1
This
figure represents a "typical" Royal Flying
Corps pilot as he would have appeared fighting
over the trenches during World War 1.
This figure is suitable for any Allied aircarft such as the Sopwith Camel or SE5a, as well as inter-war era barnstormers.
This
figure is approximately 3 1/4 " wide and is intentionally longer than usually required for
standard "head and shoulders" cockpits so as to offer
you the option of either cutting off the excess body mass of
the figure or increase the depth of the aircraft's cockpit.
The head is molded separately so it may be fixed in the position you want, or connected to your rudder control so it turns as the rudder is deflected. Also, the goggles have been left "open" so you may add clear resin to simulate the glass after painting the eyes.
